sexy-teacherJust a reminder that the winter/spring class season is about to begin at The Attic. If you’ve always wanted to take a class to invest in your writing future, now is a great time. (And, no, I don’t wear this outfit to teach, sorry to say. I usually throw jeans over over it and button up the shirt, at least.)

I’m teaching two classes starting in January. The lit fiction class that I typically teach, as well as a brand-new erotica-focused class. Here are all the details:

What are the essentials for story telling & writing fiction? How do you turn your ideas and story starts into a complete, well-written piece of fiction? Learn how to develop unique characters, intense plots, & dynamic dialogue. A workshop on the craft of story-telling & bringing your stories into a fictional framework. Specific feedback related to all aspects of working on and completing short stories, including revision & publication ideas.

Time: Saturdays, 9:30am-11:30am, 10-weeks, January 17 – March 21

Come on. You know you’ve wanted to try it. And if you’ve read the writing of authors like Susie Bright, Erica Jong, Steve Almond, Tom Perrotta, then you know the ways that great erotic stories can do more than arouse — they can delight, entertain, question societal expectations and tell truths about the human condition. In this class, you’ll learn how to plan and create short erotic fiction, with emphasis in solid characters, realistic sex, beautiful language and solid plots.
